GIRLS
I am finding myself on the verge of obsessed with Lena Dunham. Her show “Girls” is so great and brilliantly written it kills me. I remember reading a review that said it is the “Sex and the City” of this generation and I couldn’t agree more. By that I mean real life “Sex and the City” is glamorous jobs and men and parties. It is awkward encounters and being broke and wanting to live a glamorous life but still feeling like a kid and not knowing how to figure stuff out. I am not sure that I can really relate to the actions of any characters but most of it is for the drama of the TV show anyways but I full heartily believe that this show is able to take a comedic look at how confusing it can be to find yourself as an early twenty something college grad wondering, what’s next?
